Passion in ink

Several football fans have tattoos done in tribute to the team they love. Few, though, do so in the extreme manner in which Felipe Alvarez did.

The above picture shows the Colombian during the exhaustive process of having Atletico Nacional’s No2 jersey tattooed on to his upper torso – both front and back!

Alvarez had the bodywork done in honour of Andres Escobar, the former defender who began his career with Atletico and had a second spell there between 1990 and ’94, when he was tragically murdered after scoring an own-goal for Colombia en route to their first-phase exit at the FIFA World Cup™.

Bavaria1977's body probably is 1/3 black, 1/3 red and 1/3 yellow. He also has a list of all great German players on his back and a star on his chest for every cup Bayern Munchen and Germany won!

I have Bayern's badge on my shoulderblade, but that's nothing compared to this guy!

I like that guy, he's honoring a footballer who did a lot for country's team but was unjustly murdered by drug trafficking scumbags.
