Win keeps Club Brugge in the hunt

Club Brugge earned a vital play-off win over AA Gent tonight that leaves them a point off the top of the table.

Carlos Bacca, a first-half substitute, scored two minutes before the break to earn them a 1-0 win. As a result, they sit on 38 points, one behind leaders Genk.

The other game saw KV Kortrijk draw 1-1 at home to Standard Liege.

Both goals came inside 60 first-half seconds, with Ernest Webnje Nfor giving Kortrijk the lead in the 10th minute only for Mohamed Tchite to level almost immediately.
